Welcome to Tahoe Integrative Veterinary Care

Our goal at Tahoe Integrative Veterinary Care is to provide you and your pet with the highest quality personal veterinary care available in North Lake Tahoe & Truckee by blending integrative, alternative & holistic therapies with conventional medicine.

Holistic veterinary medicine integrates both conventional and alternative (complementary) therapies to treat your pet. It is the umbrella that encompasses many different therapies such as acupuncture, spinal manipulation therapy (chiropractic), homeopathy, herbal therapy and nutrition. The development of a treatment protocol takes into account the whole picture of the patient, environment, disease patterns, diet and the relationship with the owner. Dr. Robinson strives to use the least harmful, least invasive and most efficacious path to help heal your pet. Your pet will receive a unique, individualized treatment and care plan that is designed for his/her health care needs.

Tahoe Integrative Veterinary Care provides integrative and holistic services on an outpatient basis. We strive to provide a comfortable, calm and quiet environment for you and your pet to heal. The services we currently provide are acupuncture, spinal manipulation therapy (chiropractic), homotoxicology, nutritional therapy, and herbal therapy. We offer some conventional diagnostics such as bloodwork, urinalysis, fecal analysis, allergy testing and cytology.

We do not provide services that require specialized medical equipment, anesthesia, grooming, hospitalization or emergency services. We ask our clients to also keep a current relationship with a regular daytime veterinarian and/or emergency clinic to meet the needs for surgery, grooming, anesthetic procedures, hospitalization and emergencies. Dr. Robinson will gladly work with your regular veterinarian to provide an overall healing approach that best suits the needs of your pet.

Services at Tahoe Integrative Veterinary Care are by appointment only.
